Blazing Angels: Squadrons Of WWII was one of the first games out of the starting gate for the Xbox 360. Blazing Angels 2 Secret Missions shows considerable polish from the last installment. The same things you liked before are all there…lock on to target…easy flight controls.

The demo puts you in control of of top secret jet that looks very similar to a stealth fighter. Fighting airplanes in a jet = easy pickins. It was a fun addicting demo that made me want to get to the end. The last installment I found myself getting frustrated more than enjoying the game. The check points were too far apart for my liking. In the demo of BA2 the check points were spaced apart at a comfortable distance that I never found myself saying “not again”. Ground and air targets were easy to find and satisfying to destroy.

The full game promises to have Co-op play as well as head to head. This is definitely a genre game – flight sim – WWII. I liked it. For the right price I would be tempted to buy it. It is more than likely a Gamefly rental with an option to buy.
