Being a big fan of the Call of Duty series I had a big expectation. What increased it further for me was that it was finally a modern day shooter. I became dreadfully tired of the WW II venue.
As in the other games of the series I found myself mixed in with a squad of do gooders. Listening to good direction voice direction and following their lead was not unexpected and well I never found myself getting stuck because I didn’t know what was expected of me. The guidance was clear and not overly oppressive. The AI of my combat buddies was great and I never called them idiots…not once.
The game gets you started on a ship in the middle of the sea on a simple search and destroy mission. At the end of the first mission you get just enough information to launch the game into full speed. I could not stop playing this game once I got started and I hadn’t even started the always addicting multi-player mode.
The graphics were great and were really nothing less than you should expect on a next-gen machine. There were no frame-rate issues and the game flowed seamlessly from one section to the next. It seemed to me that you were able to switch characters more often in this version. This would invigorate me and push me forward into the game never wanting to put the controller down.
The controls were right on point and I don’t believe I would change a thing.
So far I love the game and can’t wait to give you all a full review.
for now my review will be 95%.
