I got my hands on the demo of Stranglehold. I was amazed about some of the things in this game that got my attention. The ability to slow down time to do spectacular moves was awesome, ala Spiderman 2 & 3. Although it was not innovative it is the first time I have seen it in a shooter. This ability allows you to do things in the John Woo style and create a truly cinematic shooter experience. The game has a version of zoom that is stunning and very graphic, don’t let the kiddies play this game it is M for Mature for a reason. The demo even revealed a type of a mini game….the stand off. This plants your feet making you only able to shoot or dodge. Dodge a bullet….yes….just in the John Woo manner.

This was a great refreshing demo that I enjoyed. I look forward to the full game.
