Being a big fan, not a huge fan nor would I call myself fanatical by any extreme, of horror movies, books, and video games I have to say that I am pretty excited about the up-coming release of Left 4 Dead, by Turtle Rock Studios (part of the Valve Corp). The basic premise of the game is a 4 player co-op survive the zombie infection. The maps will be short, quick, and brutal (brutality is based upon the success or failure of the team at any given time…sort of a smart AI dungeon master of sorts). The idea is that the maps will be replayed over and over much like it is in Counter-Strike (another Turtle Rock Studios game…they did the port into the Xbox).

The game will also include pvp and team vs team play where one team will be the survivors and the other will be the zombies trying to kill the survivors…gots to have some BRAINS! Either way, this game should be a nice addition to the fall release schedule. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I did.
