Tomorrow (Sept. 4, 07), the Xbox 360 Messenger Kit is going to be released. As a former PC exclusive gamer (PCEG), I have been jonesing for a keyboard for messaging. Having to use the little joystick to fly over the letters is hardly a skill I want to improve. Fortunately the add-on Messenger Kit will just click right into the bottom of my controller where I can text away with the speed my thumbs were trained to do with my Blackberry.
Obviously, this will be a requirement for anyone wanting to join the MMO worlds (sure you will almost certainly be able to use your headset with other Xbox 360 players and maybe some PCEG’s but a majority of PCEG’s don’t use VOIP tech for their MMO gaming…)
From Amazon:

I have mine on pre-order…do you? Don’t be left behind! After I’ve had a chance to test it out, I’ll write up a review of it, and yes I hope to complete faster than I did the Overlord review.
